Dorcas graduated with a LLB (Hons) in Law at the University of Cumbria, followed by the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) LL.M at the University of Law, completed in 2019. Whilst completing the LLB and BPTC, Dorcas has volunteered at Detention Action as an visitor for detainees based in Colnbrook IRC and has also gained experience working as an Legal Advisor for LAC (Legal Advice Centre) at the University of Law in relation to immigration bail.
Dorcas currently assists the firm in matters relating to public and international law and multitasks whilst assisting three different solicitors specialising in these areas of law.
Dorcas has volunteered for a number of different organisations such as:
Communities Empowerment Network where she acted as an education advocate by advising,
supporting and representing parents and their excluded children from school at Governor
Disciplinary Meeting and Independent Review Panels.
She has also had the opportunity to work with a set of criminal law solicitors based in west London where she had the responsibility of voice recordings and checking for PACE breaches, analysing bodycam footage, assisting solicitors in meetings with both counsel and clients.
During her spare time Dorcas provides pro – bono work for her church and the Congolese community by offering help to those that are unable to understand immigration rules and correspondence sent by the Home Office.

She enjoys singing at church as is also a youth leader where she provides advice for children between 13-18. She enjoys musicals and spending time with family and friends.
